Guide for Publishing Books
Create a book in few easy steps:
- Click on the ‘New Book’ icon in the iPad app.
- Enter the ‘Title’ and ‘Author’ on the book cover.
- Add an image either by taking a ‘Photo’ from the iPad camera or by selecting one from the ‘Camera roll’.
- Click on the colour selector
, easily drag & drop, to apply any book colour of your choice. - Record voice
up to 60 sec. for each page to tell people what the book/page is about. - Press the ‘Play’ icon to hear your recorded message.
- Press edit button
or delete 
button above to delete or edit any changes on the book. - The book is saved automatically on the iPad front page no matter what change/addition you are doing.
- While creating the page, add speech frames or thought bubbles to make your picture appealing.
- Click on the colour selector to easily drag & drop any colour on the bubbles/speech frames.
- Children/students write in the first entry box using their own imagination describing what the picture is about.
- Adults type the correct ’adult writing’ in the second box which is also audible for child convenience by using this
speech icon. - You can add as many pages in the book as you want. (up to 5 pages in free edition).
How to publish the book?
- Open the book; press this button
to allow publishing on Kid’s library. - You can either publish the book on Kid’s Library or privately publish it by moving this bar to right
to save online.
Private Publishing:
- For saving it online or private publishing, you will be asked permission before proceeding forward.
- On pressing the YES button, the book is saved online and only you can access it. However you can now see your book link under the publish button. You can either share the link on message, email or copy it anytime you like.
Publish on Kid’s Library
- Create an account if you want to publish books on Kid’s Library.
- Once the signup is done, login into your account and proceed with the publishing by moving this bar to the right.
- Wait for the book to publish on Kid’s Library.
- View the book on Kids Library by tapping the “Globe”
in the app’s front page.
Share the book with your friends and family. You don’t need to have the app to read/view books on Kids Library. You can easily view it from any device, computer, or desktop etc. by going on the link: http://kidslibrary.writereader.com.
