We get a lot of valuable and encouraging feedback from schools and kindergartens but this feedback from a mother really touched us. We are proud and humbled on how our efforts are helping children in their daily lives. Even though our app is not specifically designed for special need segment, but we are really happy that it is also being used by all kind of children – in line with our vision to enhance all children´s literacy skills.
We have been using Write Reader for roughly a year. We started after I did a blog review on the app. My daughter is 9 years old, has Down Syndrome, Autism, and had a stroke when she was an infant. She cannot speak. We use Write Reader so she can participate when her classmates share about their weekends on Monday. She writes about her activities, then I read what she wrote into the recorder. She presses play and shares like her classmates! We love it, and are going to print out the book she is making at the end of the school year to put in her memory box. A copy is attached. I love that I can send copies to her grandparents and that I have the ability to print and save her memories. Her teacher uses the app to help her with creative writing and to encourage speech.
