“My kindergarten students love using WriteReader! It’s so easy to use and the children love taking photos of their illustrations or finding images on the web to insert into their books. I love the look on their faces when they see their book published, complete with their name as the author.
Their first book was about their favorite animal and they look beautiful with the various photos of animals like tigers leaping and wolves howling. Also, I think it’s clever that the children are encouraged to write regardless of what stage of phonics development they are at because under their writing on each page an adult can type the sentence(s) correctly.
Just because they haven’t mastered the mechanics of writing doesn’t mean they don’t have anything to say!”
